 "Old Books Still Matter", a presentation by guest speaker Maureen E. Mulvihill with a display of selections from the Mulvihill Collection of rare books. The Continuing value of old and rare books among collectors, librarians, curators, teachers, book designers, and non-specialist readers will be discussed, with readings from the display. Dr. Mulvihill is a PhD (Wisconsin ’82) with post-doctoral work at Columbia University’s Rare Book School, Yale’s Center for British Art, and (as NEH Fellow), Johns Hopkins University. She is an elected scholar (1991-) Princeton Research Forum, NJ and VP (2012-2015), FL Bibliophile Society. Sponsored by Friends of the Selby Public Library
